Artist: The Life Electric
Album: The Real You
Label: Zippah Records
Released: March 25, 2016

This five piece indie rock band from Boston, MA called The Life Electric have released their album The Real You via Zippah Records. The Life Electric came about in 2011 with former Action Verbs frontman Joey Chehade (vocals) who met up with three-fifths of indie rock band Gold Star Morning, The band, also consisting of Ben Leang (guitar), Cory Bean (bass), and Joel Silloway (drums). The bands album includes eleven catchy songs that will be guaranteed to be stuck in your head all day or even week. When listening to the first song ‘Gone, Gone, Gone’ the first song that popped in my head was Walk The Moons “Anna Sun”, the upbeat tempo throughout the track made you want to sing along and dance, even if it was your first time listening to it you just couldn't stop yourself from moving.

ALBUM REVIEW: HANDS LIKE HOUSES "DISSONANTS"

Hands Like Houses new album 'Dissonants' delivers on a whole new level, track 1's song I Am gives the listeners a little tease of what is to be expected from the rest of the album. Colourblind is also another one of those tracks that grabs your attention, the sound of the guitar with a melodic sound blends perfectly together.  Every song on the album is upbeat (but doesn't sound alike) and personally leaves you wanting to hear what the next track is going to sound like.

Top 3 Favorites: I Am, Perspectives, & Degrees of Seperation
Artist: Hands Like Houses
Album: Dissonants
Label: Rise Records
Released: February 26,2016
“We spend our life on the road, where playing live has shown us not only which songs the crowd is most responsive to, but also which songs we enjoy playing the most,” Woodley explains. “This album captures so much of that intense energy.”

ALBUM REVIEW: WHILE SHE SLEEPS "BRAINWASHED"

Artist: While She Sleeps
Album: Brainwashed
Label: Razor & Tie
Released: April 21, 2015

Sheffield, England’s While She Sleeps have released their 2nd full length album 'Brainwashed' right after their last  one 'This Is The Six' back in 2012,  we can definitely say this band is one not to miss at this years Vans Warped Tour. Brainwashed was recorded by Carl Bown (Trivium), mixed by Colin Richardson (Bullet For My Valentine, As I Lie Dying) and mastered by Grammy Award winner Ted Jensen.  The reason for the long wait on the album was due to lead vocalist Lawrence "Loz" Taylor, he was forced to seek career-saving surgery on his vocal chords back in 2014.

The band explains, “Everything that we have been through these past years has become the main ingredient for the new record. On a subconscious level we have put our collective experiences into the silver lining of this music. If for once the saying good things come to those who wait was true, this is it: We have done our fans proud. This record will define While She Sleeps.”

Artist: Senses Fail/ Man Overboard
Album: Senses Fail/ Man Overboard
Label: Pure Noise Records
Released: March 3, 2015

If you are a fan of Senses Fail or Man Overboard then you are in luck! Both bands have decided to release an album together which will be them covering a classic song from each other as well as two new tracks.  The album is set to release on March 3rd via Pure Noise Records.  Here is what Buddy Nielsen, vocalist of Senses Fail, had to say about the record.

“We are excited to do our very first split,” says Senses Fail’s Buddy Nielsen. “Years, ago bands would do “VS” splits all the time, where one bad covers the others song, in recent years it hasn’t been as popular. We are thrilled to be able to share this chance with home state brothers. The song “All You Need Is Already Within” is a b-side to our forthcoming record, and shows a different side of what people have come to expect from Senses Fail.”

Man Overboard “One Fixed Point”
- This song will have whoever is listening moving around.  What caught our attention in this song though were the drums; the fast pace and energy to be exact.

Senses Fail “All You Need Is Already Within You”
- The guitar intro is guaranteed to capture the listener’s attention and the song in general won’t disappoint.  From the vocals to instruments this song will be one to want to hear live because no one will be standing still once they start playing it.

Senses Fail/Man Overboard Track List:
1.     One Fixed Point - Man Overboard
2.     Cute When You Scream - Man Overboard (Senses Fail cover)
3.     All You Need Is Already Within You - Senses Fail
4.     Real Talk - Senses Fail (Man Overboard cover)

Artist: Stick To Your Guns
Album: Disobedient
Label: Sumerian Records
Released: February 10, 2015
The guys in the band Stick To Your Guns definitely did a great job at delivering their fifth studio album to the world, their album ‘Disobedient’ which was produced by non-other than producer/rockstar John Feldman (Black Veil Brides, All Time Low, The Used) was released on February 10, 2015. The album has also already reached #3 on the iTunes Metal Charts and #95 on overall iTunes.  One of the tracks that stood out for us was ‘Left You Behind’, only because it was more of a  mellow song compared to the other songs on the album. The song ‘It Starts With Me´ and ‘What Choice Did You Give Us’ were a great choice to put as the two first songs on the album only because they grab the listeners attention and keep wanting them to listen to more.

ALBUM REVIEW: EMMURE "ETERNAL ENEMIES"

The guys in Emmure were definitely not afraid to say what was on their mind in their new album “Eternal Enemies” as well as creating a lot of buzz towards their song ‘Bring a Gun to School’ which was later renamed ‘(untitled)’.  The 15 track album starts off with ‘(untitled)’ which we think was a great choice to start the album with, the 1:39 length song starts off with a great teaser of how powerful the vocals are as well as how heavy the songs will continue to be.  What was very interesting about the album was the start to finish sound/ lyrics, the album does start off with lyrics “Get it through your fucking head!  All your friends are fucking dead” from ‘(untitled)’ to the last song ‘We Were Just Kids’  lyrics “I’m sorry that I ever hurt you and that your trust in me was worthless, and now I know what the fucking truth is, I want your heart but I don’t deserve it”.   We enjoyed the album and definitely recommend it to others as well as checking them out on tour.

A couple of songs that stood out to us were ‘Nemesis’, ‘E’, ‘Free Publicity’, ‘Most Hated’, and ‘We Were Just Kids’.

LETLIVE. AT SAN FRANCISCO'S BOTTOM OF THE HILL.

All we have to say is WOW! Letlive. definently put on one amazingly unforgettable show at San Francisco’s Bottom Of The Hill this past Sunday (March 10,2013).   The band started off their headlining show with their intro song “Le Prologue” ;which is off of their album ‘Fake History’,  and might I say started off with so much energy and contact with the crowd which got everyone wondering how the rest of the night was going to turn out.  Vocalist Jason Aalon Butler welcomed everyone in the crowd with open arms to the stage and at some points even let them sing from his microphone while he jumped around using every single space of the stage to his advantage and even also pulling down the venues projection screen.  You might of never guessed that this stop was actually one of their 3rd to last shows of their headlining tour since it kicked off in Orlando, FL on January 27th.  Letlive. has had the pleasure of going on tour with Underoath and Deftones recently and even though they will wrapping up their tour tonight in San Diego you can still experience one of their shows while they’re on tour with Pierce The Veil or on The Vans Warped Tour this year.

Check out the dates below to see if they’ll be playing at a city near you! Don't forget to also check out some pics we got of the guys here.
